「だっぺ」は茨城の言葉。「そうでしょ」「それでいいっぺ」。肩の力が抜けた、でも確かな肯定です。

シンボルは盥（たらい）。木の桶に水を張り、縁は少しだけ傾いている。手でつくったものの愛嬌を、私たちはあえて直しません。

創業者にとって特別な場所「タラの丘」への想いも、この盥に込めています。

"Dappe" is a word from Ibaraki, Japan. It means something like "right?" or "that'll do." A relaxed, certain yes.

Our symbol is the tarai, a wooden wash tub. The rim sits a few degrees off level. That is the charm of a hand-made thing, and we leave it that way on purpose.

The tub also carries a quieter meaning: Tara no Oka, a hill that matters to our founder.
